We are delighted to be able to welcome you into our recently refurbished store on the London Road.
We are both a bike shop and a workshop here at the BikeShed, so we'll do our best to cater to all your cycling needs.
Everything from Forme and Pashley bikes to Volt and Alba E-bikes, as well as a range of bicycle accessories like lights and locks.
We also have our own brand of BrightonBicycles which we build in-house to your very own specification.
They are light, super-functional and great quality, and we believe them to be very competitively-priced for a bespoke bicycle.

We work on a first-come, first-served basis. So no need to book your slot beforehand!
The work done to your bike will vary depending on the stage of its service:
Our most affordable bike service includes a comprehensive inspection of your bike with an advisory on any new parts that are required.
It also includes tyre inflation, gear adjustment and chain lubrication.
A Stage 1 service is recommended at least twice a year for your 'Sunday cyclist'.
A more in-depth bike service is needed when several major components of the bike require installation, for example a headset or bottom bracket.
A Stage 2 s is recommended for an enthusiastic cyclist that covers more miles than average.
Our most advanced bike service includes a deep clean and degrease of every major component of your bicycle, including the drivetrain.
A Stage 3 is recommended for those cyclists who like to tour frequently.
